Project Manager

The Groop is looking for Project Managers to lead teams to successful project completion. If you are a "people person" with an obsession for detail and ability to see the big-picture view, we want to meet you. Front-end developer (HTML/CSS/Javascript)

The Groop is looking for talented candidates to: Developing cutting edge client side UI applications. Work with other engineers on code reviews, internal infrastructure, and process enhancements. Contributing integrally to the UI of a really cool, consumer-facing, heavily UI-dependent properties.

Required Skills:
-XHTML, HTML, CSS, cross-browser development, Javascript
-3+ years experience developing web applications using complex CSS on multiple browsers.
Additional pluses would be:
-AJAX, and ActionScript 3.0 is a plus
-UNIX/Linux experience desired
-Understanding of AJAX techniques and at least one modern AJAX library / framework a plus
-AJAX coding skills a huge plus
-Graphic design skills/background a big plus
-Experience developing web applications in any back-end languages

Lead Web Developer

The ideal candidate is highly fluent in various technologies, a creative problem solver, self-driven, and thrives in a fast-paced, high growth environment. Utilizing your strengths you will own development of our user interfaces and applications with our customers. Your responsibilities will include:

Building and maintaining our web based user interfaces
Working closely with our team and clients on integration using an agile development process

Required Skills:
-BS Degree or equivalent experience
-5+ years of experience in multi-browser HTML and JavaScript web development
-Experience in Ajax, JSP and Java based UI frameworks is a plus
-Strong troubleshooting skills
-Strong multi-tasking abilities
-Strong working knowledge of LAMP (PHP, mySQL, Linux, Apache) required

Senior Flash developer

The Groop has an immediate opening for a senior level Flash developer. Candidates will be experienced advocates of best development practices, including OOP principles, our own internal agile process, and the latest trends and capabilities. Candidates will demand perfection of themselves and their team, and find ways to innovate wherever possible.

Responsibilities: - Create amazing work - along with working with other agile team members and their projects and jump in when necessary - Inspire greatness and pursuit of perfection - Work with the Creative team to concept and produce Flash experiences that inspire and engage - Develop robust and scalable Flash that exercises the principles of OOP - Work with html and back-end developers for flawless integration and data transfer - Stay current on the latest technologies and capabilities, and advocate their use where appropriate - Work with video content creators to create seamless experiences - Help refine and shape our Flash process.
