When Seth was 19 attending UC Santa Barbara and studying painting and fine art, a buyer from Nordstrom saw a pair of Seth's character and grafitti laden jeans on his sister. Within months he was in the rag business and in stores nationwide. That was the catalyst for his love of art and commerce.
Exposure to a prototype video card for the mac changed the direction of his life. Seth was an early innovator in blending live action and graphics entirely on the Mac. From that exposure was born FUEL, a pioneer of motion graphics which grew to be an industry force, eventually acquired by Razorfish in 2000.
Seth and his team won an Emmy for his ground-breaking branding of the ESPN X-Games which led to the iconic re-branding of ESPN's Sports Center. Seth has directed commercial campaigns, network rebrands, commercial graphics as well as web-centric projects. He has worked with world-class agency and network clients including ABC, NBC, CBS, ESPN, Showtime, HBO, FOX, Cartoon Network, FX, E! and top advertising agencies BBDO, Wieden & Kennedy, Chiat Day, Ground Zero, Amarati Puris Lintas as well as directly with top companies like HP and Sketchers.
Seth's visual acuity and business acumen comes from blending the client's strategic and financial concerns with the intangible magic of imagination. His secret sauce is to listen for the client's primary concerns and over-deliver.
