The Story

The Groop and Fund.com recently collaborated to create an engaging website targeted toward educating and informing novice and seasoned investors alike. The goal was to create an experience that is both focused on financial education and planning while being user friendly and fun to encourage active participation with the product.

We started by auditing existing financial websites and online financial tools. We found that the market is flooded with products that are very straight forward and not very easy to use. Fund.com competes in this highly competitive landscape by utilizing immersive and engaging content and a playful and highly interactive interface.

The Results

The Groop designed an in depth product identity, experience architecture and a visually compelling user interface that features a suite of financial tools and educational information from top experts in the field. Among many other dynamic features, Fund.com centrally showcases a comprehensive "life-map" that allows users to set individual financial goals and get detailed information about how to reach them.

The user experience of the site balances in-depth and up to the minute mutual fund advice and news while guiding users toward information that is relevant to their financial status and level of financial expertise. At the same time, the visual design is crafted to express the entertaining and exuberant character of the brand. The result is a unique and immersive website that solidly stands out from the crowd.
