The Story

Savings.com, leading online coupon and deal site, came to The Groop with the challenge of relaunching their brand identity and website, to build a more dedicated community of users who would return to the site again and again. The challenge was to continue to engage Savings.com’s core audience while also attracting new people to online coupons and deals.

The Results

In order to effectively meet the goals for the website relaunch, we worked in close collaboration with Savings.com’s internal teams in Santa Monica and Santa Barbara, ensuring that we understood the brand, the corporate culture, and the long-term goals of the company to the fullest.

The Groop began by developing a new identity for the 2 and a half year old startup, centered around the idea that saving money can be a great part of every part of your life. Once the identity was in place, user experience experts and designers worked together to ensure that the experience was as beautiful as the look of the site. In addition to submitting deals, users are also invited to create profiles, and “vote up” deals they like, ensuring that the best deals rise to the top.

Our expert user experience and visual design teams worked closely with the Savings.com product development team to make the user experience as effective as it was beautiful.
